Question 1

Which high school subjects do you tutor?

Accepted Answer

We tutor math from Algebra I through calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, English, history and languages such as French and Spanish, as well as SAT and ACT prep.

Question 2

Can a tutor help with Ontario 4U or other senior courses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tutors can follow Grade 12 university preparation courses such as Advanced Functions or Calculus and Vectors, as well as US senior courses, AP and IB, using your teen’s own course materials.

Question 3

Will the tutor write or edit my teen’s essays?

Accepted Answer

No. Tutors help with planning, thesis statements, structure and revision, and explain feedback, but the writing stays your teen’s own work.

Question 4

Can tutoring help my teen prepare for college or university applications?

Accepted Answer

Tutoring focuses on understanding course material and preparing for tests, which supports the senior marks that appear on transcripts. We also offer SAT and ACT prep for students who need it.

Question 5

How do we get started?

Accepted Answer

Book a free consultation. We will ask about your teen’s courses and goals, then hand pick a tutor and schedule lessons around their week.
