Question 1

Can young children really focus during online lessons?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when lessons are built for them. Tutors keep activities short and interactive on the whiteboard, with drawing and games mixed into the practice, and adjust the pace to your child’s attention span.

Question 2

My child is behind in reading. Where would a tutor start?

Accepted Answer

The tutor first finds out which skills are solid and which are missing, often starting with letter sounds and phonics. From there, our reading program builds on top of the last skill learned, with daily exercises to practice between lessons.

Question 3

Do you help with both reading and math?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Elementary tutors can work on reading, phonics, writing, spelling and math, either in separate lessons or combined, depending on what your child needs most.

Question 4

Will lessons match what my child is learning at school?

Accepted Answer

They can. Tutors can work from your child’s homework, notes and tests, or use our own curriculum to strengthen core skills, in the US or Canada.

Question 5

How do we get started?

Accepted Answer

Book a free consultation. We will ask about your child’s grade and goals, then hand pick a tutor and schedule lessons at days and times that work for you.
