Question 1

Do you teach Modern Standard Arabic or a spoken dialect?

Accepted Answer

Tell us what you need in the free consultation. Many families want reading and writing in Modern Standard Arabic, others want conversation in a particular dialect, and we will be honest about which tutor is the best fit for that request.

Question 2

Is there an AP Arabic exam?

Accepted Answer

No, there is no AP exam for Arabic. Some students take a proficiency test for a state Seal of Biliteracy or a school credit instead; requirements vary, so check with your child’s school.

Question 3

My child speaks Arabic at home but cannot read it. Can you help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Lessons for heritage learners focus on reading and writing, linking the words your child already knows to how they are written.

Question 4

Can lessons include Quranic Arabic?

Accepted Answer

Some families ask about this. Let us know in the free consultation what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly whether we can help; our lessons focus on Arabic language skills rather than religious instruction.

Question 5

How do we get started?

Accepted Answer

Book a free consultation. Share your child’s level, goals and any dialect or script needs, and we will hand pick a tutor and set up lessons at times that work for you.
