Question 1

Do you tutor both Algebra 1 and Algebra 2?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We tutor pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, as well as the algebra units in Canadian provincial math courses from Grade 6 to Grade 12.

Question 2

My child is behind in algebra. Can a tutor help them catch up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tutors start by finding the skills that are missing, often from earlier grades, and rebuild them while keeping up with current classwork.

Question 3

Can the tutor help with algebra homework?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your child can upload homework or worksheets to the shared whiteboard, and the tutor will work through it with them so they understand the method, not just the answer.

Question 4

Is algebra tutoring useful for SAT or ACT prep?

Accepted Answer

Algebra shows up throughout the math sections of both tests, so strong algebra skills help. If your child is preparing for a specific test, we also offer dedicated SAT and ACT tutoring.

Question 5

How do we get started?

Accepted Answer

Book a free consultation. We will learn about your child’s course and goals, hand pick an algebra tutor, and set up lessons on the days and times you choose.
